How to read this page

The three blocks above present the same market three different ways. The overview at the top groups major indices, large-cap stocks, currency pairs and crypto into a single tabbed dashboard, so the reader can switch between asset classes without leaving the page. The heatmap visualises the S&P 500 by sector and market cap — bigger tiles are larger companies, redder tiles are down on the day, greener tiles are up — which makes it easy to spot whether a move is broad-based or concentrated in a single name. The market-data table below shows quotes in a sortable list, useful when comparing prices and percentage changes side by side. For the chart conventions used inside each individual ticker view, the reading stock charts primer covers candlesticks, timeframes and volume.

Quotes update during exchange hours. Outside those hours, the last figure shown is the most recent close, sometimes followed by a delayed pre-market or after-hours print depending on the venue. Free market data is typically delayed by up to 15 minutes on US listings and longer on some international exchanges — see the disclaimer for caveats and the tickers & exchanges primer for how the same company can show up under different symbols.

To zoom in on a specific company, type its ticker into the search box at the top of the site, or open one of the popular tickers below. Each ticker page combines the chart, fundamentals, technical signals and news for that single symbol.
